Where are the screws which attach the dash to the firewall? What kind of tools do I need to fasten those screws, since I suspect the annoying noise is coming from those loosen screws.

    Hi
    I am currently having same problem and I was consulted with the similar asnwers that you've got.(Thank you for the person who answer to me). I was not able to fix them yet, however, mine has a kind of on and off pattern. once it starts making noise it is very annoying but next day, the noise is just gone. Wish you and myself luck finding right screw toward fire wall and dash board holder.

    The dash to firewall bolts are under the plastic cowl just foreward of the windshield, the one that hides the pollen filter. Remove the wiper arms and the cowl and you will see 4 10mm bolts. The 2 on the drivers side are hidden by the wiper transmission. Just remove the 2 wiper trans bolts and nudge it out of the way. I have found all 4 loose on occasion, but mostly the pass side seem to work loose.
