Brake job completed but scraping sound still there?? 850 1996

I just completed the rear brakes on my 1996 850 GLT with 230k. I did everything. Pads, Rotors, Calipers and a complete bleed. The brakes work just fine but my rear passenger side is still making a scraping noise that is most noticable when I brake at lower speeds. I guess I just can't hear it when I'm braking on the highway. I've done brakes on my 240's for years and I successfully did the front calipers/rotors/pads on my 850 last year. I never had a problem like this. But I did notice this prior to my changing the calipers, just not as loud as it is now. I was hoping a new set of rotors and calipers would have fixed this noise. Can the alignment of the rear caliper be out of specifications? If it is, then I would guess a trip to the Volvo dealer is in order. What do you guys think?

Thanks - Marty

just been thru this....my mechanics finaly fixed it (after replacing ALL the front brakes - i.e. calipers, rotors, disks...) by totally stripping and cleaning and greasing the hand brake componants in the hub... 1000 miles latter and im a happy camper!

Did you check the emergency brake shoes?

Good question. I am not sure how to check the brake shoes. Can you help me with this? Thanks for the response.

You need to remove the caliper and rotor as they are inside the drum section of the rotor. Replacement shoes are about $25 aftermarket.

you know, I can't remember if the rear brakes have a splash shield or not (and I'm too lazy to go outside and check) but if so, check if it's not bent a little and would be rubbing against the inside of the rotor.
