Had to do that one couldnt resist. But seriously Klaus I got to hand it to ya as you may have just saved me from having to fork out $3000 IN getting a new car. Oil was really leaking on mine with clouds of smoke, the reliable mechanic I use - called and after glancing at it said the oil leaks are so severe, I may as well get a new motor /car. So i actually went car hunting yesterday and (un)fortunately couldnt find someting i liked. Then I thought- hey, wait a min, surely some Bricksters could give a free 2nd opinion and then is where Klaus told of the venerable flame trap that some genius had an after thought on in Sweden 10 yrsago.
I've helped a bunch of people here and I dont shy from tough jobs...those from 2004 may recall I did an A/C Evap core replacement solo and delicate strut replace without those Volvo special tools. So after this I felt I had come to the end of Volvo lifespan ,but looks like I may just eke out the winter on it before i go out in the freezing with car salesmen or auctionairres ..
