I have a 1993 850 GLT that had a horribly leaking rear engine seal. I had the seal completely replaced, and had a new PCV assembly (and hose) installed on the vehicle. While the mechanic had the car, I also had the timing belt replaced, a new battery, sway bars, and a few odds and ends. Needless to say, the bill was quite painful, but I figured, if I can get another 100K from the car, well worth the $$$.
Well, today, less than three weeks after picking up the car from the mechanic, I am seeing oil leaking from the engine AGAIN. I left a message with the mechanic, but does anyone had any idea what the deal could be with the oil leak? Are 850s infamous for this? I just don't know what to do at this point. I love the car, but it has been REALLY nickeling and diming me to death lately--and after this latest round with repair bills--I am not sure how much more I can stand.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!
