transitioning from 940 to 850, good idea? 850

It's time to get rid of my 940. I am thinking of paying ~ $3k for a '94 850 with low 100k miles.

My question is, are the 850s as "rugged" and well-built as the 900/700 series? I know they are more expensive to fix...


Any random comments appreciated.
