roof trim on wagon--need advice

the beautiful wagon was recently taken through a supposed soft brush wash that turned out to be not so (stupid!)

the result: the trim or molding on top is chipping away. any ideas for dealing with this? e.g., get trim from a bone yard? find it somewhere new? i don't want to peel it off and paint underneath.
