roof trim on wagon--need advice

Dealer wants like $140 for each side. Even if you can find one in a junk yard, it's probably peeling too. It's been discussed plenty here before and many people have dealt with it in different ways, from putting electrician's tape down the entire length to taking them off and painting them. I did the later. They just snap off but be careful. They are aluminum and will bend if you're not careful.
I sand blasted mine clean and then used a high temperature gloss spray paint and covered them with several coats after a primer. They looked as good as new until the day we sold our 850. Good luck.
