Is my ignition switch or my pnp switch going bad, and or are both going bad? 850

Greetings:

I have had my tranny arrow blinking off/on for the last week or so! I would get this light every 2-5 days or so. I usually remove the fuse (15 amp)and reinsert it after a few minutes. Additionally, I would diconnect the battery for a brief moment. Upon reconnecting my battery and reinstalling the fuse the car would not start for at least 3-5 minutes later. I would fully engage the key and all I would hear is an electronic relay click within the dash board area nearest to the fuse box underneath the hood? Then moments later the car would start minus the blinking arrow light, which when in blinking mode it causes the car to move extremely slow like it is stuck in a gear and or low on tranny fluid? Today I just racked the shifter for about 20-25 times from the park-low gear because of the arrow light blinking again. Upon trying to restart this time the car wouldn't start until 3-5 minutes had passed then it turned right over! I am going to flush the entire tranny tommorow from the upper cooler line. Might old fluid be part of the pnp switch being set off. I understand that by racking the shifter, it sort of cleans the copper contacts. What say you? Thanks in advance! 1995 850 GLT Wagon A.T. 155,000 original miles.

Best Regards
