instument cluster removal on 97- 850 T5 wagon 850 1997

I need to replace a burned out bulb in the instrument cluster. I can't see the temp reading at nite, which is important in Montana. I have read the instruction on removal of the instrument cluster on the Bay 13 site, but it looks very challenging. Have any of you out there done it, and do you have any helpful tips? Thanks
