Exporting Car from US to Canada V70-XC70

Well, I think I am well versed in all the government regulations concerning this process but would like to hear from some people that have recently done this.

I will be looking for a 2002-04 V70 so would like to go to a US dealer with a large inventory of lease return units. Preference is for a dealer on the Eastern Seaboard.

For those that had the conversions completed at an authorized Canadian Volvo dealer, can you please advise what you were charged.
