I'm not sure what you would have to change. Daytime running lights is all I can think of. I believe you will have km/hr on the speedo, and the tail-lights should be the right colour.

Most 'inspection' depots don't do much inspection, especially on a newer car that looks good. My friend had his BMW pass with zero mods. He just left the lights turned on, they come on with the key (like a Volvo), and they assumed he had DRL's.

The actual importation (and export from USA) will be a problem if you don't follow all the rules exactly. Be sure to get good proce documentation.
