Engine light V70-XC70 2000

My problem is that when ever I fuel up the engine light comes on at 25- 50 KMS.
and it will go off some time later.(200-300Kms)
I tried a new fuel cap and it still did the same thing.
Everything else seems ok, I don't like seeing a light on that tells me there is a problem.
Anyone else out there with yhis problem??
My car has 172000 Kms on it.
