You need to find out what the error code is that is causing the CEL to turn on. My best guess is that you might be overfilling the tank, and that causes gasoline to spill down the line to the charcoal cannister, filling it with fluid rather than vapor.
In the USA, I would suggest going to an Autozone for a free reading, but you may have to pay a dealer to get the proper code.
