Several months ago I posted about an abs light on my V70T5 that was on part
of the time and when it was on the cruise control would not work. Usually it
would be on one time and the next time I started the car it might or might not
be on. Not long after that I had the ball joints and front suspension bushings
replaced, and since then the ABS light has not come on ONCE. (Just before that
I took it to the dealer in Tulsa and had them run the VCT2000/VADIS on it and
it confirmed there was a problem with the ABS that gave symptoms in several
different places in the car.) Now it seems to be well!
Then last week I posted about the driver's seat motor being nonfunctional so
my long-legged Swede wife had trouble driving after her squatty husband, and it
was in position #1 (mine). Today I tried it and it seems to work fine.
Has it gotten well also?? I have not checked fuses or interference yet as
suggested by several very kind replies - the car thermometer showed 10°F this
morning and I think it was correct.
In both the above cases whatever problem there was seems to be corrected.
All theories welcome. Maybe the tomtes* are at work!
*Check your Swedish folklore.
