Dead 850 850 1996

So about a month ago I had a post about my battery being dead and the car needing a new alternator. My mechanic installed a new alternator and things seemed to be okay until this morning when the battery was dead again. Same thing as before the alternator was replaced. The alternator is definitely new and the battery has checked out okay, so what now? I'm at a loss. What could be the problem??
