Several weeks ago I asked for help regarding a PO440 error my 850 NA wagon was throwing, causing me to fail emissions. I finally replaced the EVAP valve, and the code went away. 500 miles later, PO442 came up, EVAP system leak (small). I scoured the boards, and my vacuum lines, until finally today I dropped the fuel tank and found a crack in the return line from the filler neck to the top of the tank. Replaced the line, reinstalled everything, and started the car. The code was gone. Great I thought.
Unfortunately, my ABS light is now lit. I have no idea what I could have done, but it stays on no matter what I do. I've looked over all things I touched today, and didn't see anything that looked wrong. There are no error codes in the computer.
How should I trouble shoot this problem? I'm so frustrated with this car, and I'm now driving it illegally because I can't smog it and register it.
I'm desperate. Does anyone know where I should start with this ABS light?
