Programming Remote 850 1995

Two weeks ago I posted "how do I program a new remote" for a 1995 850 turbo. Many thanks to Jeong Lee ... your advice worked and my new remote now operates my car. The only problem is the OTHER one that I have now does not! Can it be that the car supports only 1 remote. That would mean that both have to have the same code! Three questions:

1) Do both remotes require the same code?

2) Can the car be set to recognize two different remotes?

3) Can a remote be reprogrammed so both are the same?

Many thanks to website and responders. The info has been invaluable so many times.
