98 S70 Strut Work S70 1998

In looking at my daughters 98 S70 struts the other day, the passenger side looked a little off center. So I took a wrench grabbed the nut and could spin everything. Couldn't do this on the driver side so I figure the Spring seat is broken. Obvious parts to order (Info from FCP Groton) are the

spring seat OEM PN 8646713
Strut Fitting 31262068
Lock Nuts 971066
Strut bolts 982845

From those members with experience, should I consider the

Strut Mount (bigger ticket item) 3546189
Stop Bump 9140067

Anything else? I read up on the procedure and it seems pretty straight forward as long as you have the spring compressor. So crack the top nut while still in the car for better leverage? I only took a quick look at it, but this year seems to have the regular nut on top and NOT that odd looking thing I've seen posted in other instructions, or it underneath something? If just the regular nut, then I'll assume you use a torx to keep the shaft from rotating while undoing the nut like on my 01 V70?

Any comments on a realignment? Seems the forum was pretty evenly divided on this.

Klaus you there? I'd especially appreciate your comments.
