In a previous post, I noted when braking at high speed that significant vibration was evident off the rear brakes. My instinct is that warped rotors could be an issue. Although my service appointment isn't for another three weeks, I brought the car in today given other braking issues. The fronts no longer allow for any braking modulation. It's to the point I'm having to push the pedal to the floor. Although I haven't had the car up on a hoist, the outside pads look fine and brake fluid level is more than adequate. Does this sound like a caliper issue? And if this is the case, given the vehicle has only 21k, do I have a leg to stand on if I ask the dealer to replace all four calipers, rotors, and pads under warranty. Also, the parking brake seems to have a problem as well. When driving and pulling the hand brake, the vehicle pulls to the left. This leads to me to be believe I may have caliper problems on the right rear as well. Your insight is appreciated.
Have had the vehicle a total of 120 days and driven 4k. Already I have had it at the dealer for door panels, trip computer, window seals, carpeting, and now brakes. Hope this is it for a while.
