Re: Brake Issues S70 2000

Hmmm! I have a 2000 S70 GLT SE and it's been great. I had one problem in which the 4-way flasher module had to be replaced following shipment of the car from NY to TX when I moved this summer. I'm attributing that to vibration damage sustained during transport. The vibration sustained by my 240 in transport was so severe that the driver's seat shook apart; I found the bolts laying on the floor. The geniuses basically strapped the cars down so tight that they rested against the suspension bump stops during transport thus transmitting every bit of vibration into the cars. When the carrier showed up at the house, the cars looked like "low-riders" sitting on the trailer. Even despite this, they managed to allow the two cars to tap each other during shipment causing some minor body damage. Then they gave me the "what for" for only giving them the valet key and denying them access to the trunk, despite the fact that I brought this to the shippers attention. Needless to say I gleefully submitted damage claims.

Sorry...just had to vent. I'm still annoyed.

But other than this, my S70 has been totally trouble free after 16 months.
