engine stalls at low speed 850 1994

I recently bought a '94 850 from a non-volvo dealer. Over the last few weeks I have occaisionally experienced the engine suddenly cutting off - usually while I'm at a slow speed slowing down for a traffic light. The car always starts up again after one or two tries and seems fine after that. I took the car to my mechanic and he said that it might well be the fuel relay. I took the car back to the dealer for them to spend the time and money to fix the problem. They also believed that it was either the fuel pump relay, the fuel filter, or the cam sensor. They changed all of these and have still experienced the stalling problem since. They apparently have also checked all the wires for grounding problems. They are now trying a new "crank sensor". Does anyone have any idea what else could be the problem here? It seems like there should be a simple solution to this. I really like this car (almost mint condition) and would like to not have to return it.
