I want to install a pollen filter as the car did not originally have one. Seems easy and straight forward to do. However, the Volvo "filter holder" instructions recommends reprogramming the ECC when you install a cabin filter. An inexpensive upgrade now sounds expensive! Will the ECC operate differently with a filter installed when originally there wasn't one? Thanks.
