Tranny won't upshift after cold start... 850 95

The auto tranny in my 850 Turbo is acting funny lately. The car would not up-shift in "D" on cold start. I would have to jiggle the shifter forward & backward a little and it would up-shift. The problem would last for a couple of minutes and it would shift perfect after that. The part that really bothers me is it only happens on cold start.

Any idea? My dealer thinks my tranny is bad. I think it's probably just a sensor or switch in the transmission.
