good bye Volvo 850

Too bad you are not mechanically inclined and have to rely on a "mechanic" who doesn't know Volvos. Your 850 has a coolant low sensor, they all do. Pistons don't "chip" without instantly seizing the engine, unless your mechanic hit it with a chisel. Your mechanic took off the head?

For $350-500, you could have bought a good used engine.

Don't blame Volvo for your mistakes,
