A DIY boost control for the 850? ALL

I was searching the web for a boost controller suitable for the 850 when I came upon this site:

In paticular, I direct your attention to two articles, "Eliminating negative boost," and "Audi's DIY boost control." These articles can be found at:

I recommend that they be read in that order, and note that each article has several parts. Question - does anyone think that the boost control described, which was used on an A4 (electronic boost control like the motronic volvo) can be used on the 850?
