Testing EVAP purge valve V70-XC70 1998

Greetings! Anyone know how I can test EVAP purge valve using ohm meter?
I don't like the idea of putting car battery power to it directly to see if it clicks or not...
Also, inside this valve there is what appears to be an adjustemnt screw.
Should I leave it alone, or try adjusting it?
