Synthetic Oil = Oil Leaks? 850 97 T5

I just read where someone switched to synthetic and had to replace all of the seals in their motor. I switched when I bought my car with 41K. I developed a leak shortly thereafter, and attributed it to the Turbo Return pipe, after consultation with this board. I just replaced it this past weekend, no signs of oil yet. Should I be worried, or was this a freak thing? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
