Hi all,
I think a chipmunk or similar has taken up residence in my wife's S60.

Yesterday she came screaming into the house saying an animal had trashed the trunk. There was a lot of bright orange and natural (off-white) colored seeds (similar to sesame but much larger) piles of torn up paper and fiber (maybe sound deadening?). There was also evidence of them occupying the glove box.

I spent hours cleaning the trunk, glove box and interior being careful to use odor elmiminators etc. so the animal would not think it was "home". I closed the sunroof and windows. This morning she called me again to say that they had trashed the trunk again, again lots of fiber and these weird seeds.

Any advice as to whether the 'seeds' could be stuffing of some kind, what the other stuff is and how to rid the car of animals is desperately needed and very much appreciated!
