Is there any instructions on dash removal?>> 850 1996

Like other 850's, it seems liket there are little annoying creaks over bumpy roads from the dash. is there a fix for this? I heard somethings about putting felt around and on the plastic clips that hold the dash in place becasue they are the source of the creaks? Does that sound right?
