Hello to All,
Like some others on the Brickboard, My check engine light is now always on and my upshift transmission light occasionally comes on too (94 turbo wagon). This has just happened since the weather turned real cold in South Carolina. The car runs and shifts fine. The fluid level is fine. Mileage is 103000.
I've checked Pos 2 on the "B" box at the front, passenger side of the engine and the code 1-1-1 comes up (no engine problem). I have the engine service manual but cannot check the transmission control module (TCM) since I don't have "that" book.
Some say it is Position 1 on the "B" box.
1) Is this correct?
2) Where can I find the TCM codes? I couldn't find them on volvospeed.com.
3) What is the problem likely to be?
4) Can the check engine light be reset not to come on anymore? How?
I can post a page from the service manual for the "engine" codes if it would help anyone.
Thanks in advance,
Rick
