Yep, seen many lately. A1 trans code 313..........Gear position sensor

(or "PNP switch" parts lingo), faulty signal.

You need a new Gear position sensor that bolts onto the top of your transmission. Must be the cold weather because I'm replacing alot of these lately (like 2-3 per week).
