So 3k miles ago, my service light started coming on for the first 2 minutes following start-up. (Don't worry, i did my own service, just haven't gotten over to the dealer.)

My question is, will that service light, if left alone, always go off after 2 minutes? I kinda like the built-in timer. This way I try not to work the engine/turbo too hard during the first 2 minutes of drive time.

Now if I can get a timer/reminder light that works when I pull into the garage...
