I just bought a non-turbo V70 wagon that came with one key. I called my local dealership to ask about a copy of the key and I am told that I must pay $60 for the key blank, $75 to cut the key, and $92 to program the key The last time I did this years ago the total came to $120. Now it is $227for a copy of the key. I've been living off of old Volvos for years keeping them going until they have to die or or get rear-ended by cell phone users. Does anyone know of any alternative to this kind of rip-off for a key copy?
