top windshield rubber falling off 850 96

The black rubber strip between the top of my windshield and the roof has started falling out. It has peeled back about half way. I have tried pressing it back into the channel but it keeps on coming loose. Has any one had this problem. Did you try and glue it? If so what kind of adhesive did you use? Or am I going to have to buy a new rubber strip? Thanks
