Hello

Recently, we started to hear strange noise and feel from the transmission. When on park, I switch to rear and I can hear a "clunk" from the tranny... then I go to neutral and then to drive and I can hear the same "clunk"... This is strange. When on neutral for 10 sec, I can go to drive without any strange sound but when I go to rear, I always get a "clunk".

When driving, sometimes when doing quick move, the tranny will follow changing the gear as it need to. When getting a corner, I had to slow down quick and on the acceleration, the tranny change the speed and I could hear a "cluck" again. This only happens very rarely.

Also, I don't know if it`s relevant, (the tranny is 5 speed automatic with manual overide) I decide to drive on the manual override so I went from 1 to 2, to 3 to 4 and then I had to stop... normally, the tranny follow the speed and shift down itself without shifting manually back. So when slowing down, it went to 4 to 3 and then it got stuck there till I was completly stopped (when normally it should be on the first gear).

I don't know if any of you have any idea... I just hope I'm not near replacing the whole tranny... just hope it`s something related to the tranny management or brain more than the tranny itself.
