When it snowed here in Seattle, I made the mistake of driving my beautiful 850 in the snow. Within 15 feet of leaving my driveway I hit a curb, bent the rim,hit my head on the door pillar, and messed my alignment up. I thought that when I took it into the shop that the total would be about $1,000 or so, but this morning they informed me that it would be $2,300.

Here is a list of the charges - and I am wondering if this sounds unreasonable.

They found that the LF wheel is bent, subframe twisted, left control arm twisted, LF wheel bearing/hub assembly also was hit very hard.

Hoist engine, replace subframe Labor - $417.00

Subframe part Part - $770.93

Screws for subframe Part - $30.00

Motor Mounts Part - $101.80

Replace Control Arm Labor - $69.50

Control arm Part - $167.00

Replace LF Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly Labor - $104.25

Hub assembly Part - $178.00

Allign front end Labor - $69.50

So what im wondering... do these prices seem unreasonable?

Oh, and by the way, in the process of being towed to the car repair shop for this tire problem my car was rear ended, therefore smashing in the trunk lid. Great luck, eh?
