Trouble Starting 850 1994

After much time and effort found the problem. Replaced crank and cam sensors plus coil but problem was a blown ignition computer. Found this out by using the diagnostic code - probe in A-6 hole. Using this test had no signal or flashing lights at all. Was told earlier to test the A-2 hole. Did this and received normal signal but this is the test for the fuel computer board.

Replaced ignition board with a used one and car started immediately.

Would've saved time and money had I known or someone told me to try the A-6 test.

Of course, the problem was there in first place cause I jump started a dead battery and blew the board out. Never again will I jump without using the jumper kit.

Happy motoring.

Ron
