I remember recently reading an article that mentioned something about keeping your fuel injectors clean and how it will give you a better running car that won't waste gas. Seeing that my car is closing in on 6 years and I don't recall any information in the owner's manual that includes servicing those fuel injectors, is there any preventative maintenance I can do? My 850 turbo has been cared for and well maintained and only runs on Chevron 92 or 94 gas. Are the cleaning agents present in the gas I pump sufficient? Or should I look into using some of that fuel injector cleaning stuff you see at the auto parts store? Will those cleaners do my car any harm if I use them from time to time to keep the injectors clean?
