Hi to all, I have a 96 960 that runs as smooth as silk but in clearwater fl this time of year the a/c is intermittent. When it is working I get 38 t0 40 at the vent .What is happening I discovered is that the fan (cooling) will stop usually at the warmest part of the day and even more often after I have parked it for less than 15 min(engine bay is very hot). Sometimes when this happens it will purge 134a do to high pressure I think, secondary to no air flow and high temperature.I have tested the fan , the relay, checked the grounds to no avail. However , last week while the car was running after a purge , I was frustrated and pulled the connector to the linear high pressure sensor on the front of the condenser and the fan started up and has not stopped yet.(it works as it is supposed to) Is that the answer? Do I buy a new linear sensor? How do I test it? Any answers will be appreciated . Thank you. Joe 92 240 120k, 95 940 120k96 960 110K
