2001 XC Brake question V70-XC70 2001

Hi everyone,

I leased myself a new XC recently and for the most part, it's a very good car. However, the brakes are extremely sensitive and eventhough I've had it for a while, I still find myself having a tough time adjusting to them. It almost becomes a chore to drive sometimes. Is there anything I can do to dull this sensitivity? I barely have to touch the pedal and they really grab the rotors abruptly. Thanks for the tips =)
