O.K., Klaus I need your help.
I am in the process of trying to replace the 90 degree rubber PCV elbow that comes out of the manifold just below the upper radiator hose. The old one had a hole in it and it was pulling a code.
Anyway someone over on Matthew's said that if my hands are not too meaty, I should be able to do this without removing the whole manifold. I have small, skinnier hands.
So far I got the old one off (over an hour and a half) and now what I thought would be the easy part is not. Any suggestions on getting the new rubber elbow back on?
1) Should I grease or put Vaseline on the ends for ease of insertion?
2) Should one end go on first before the other? (Top end is stationary where the other is not)
Access is not as easy as I thought.
