All,

I looked at a C70 Coupe yesterday with 114,000 miles. It has the high pressure turbo and is an automatic. The car has been lowered, has a cone filter, and has a strut tower brace.

Problems noted:
1. The rear view mirror is really dim and seems messed up for some reason.
2. Since the car is low, when the wheels are turned the tires rubbed.
3. I needs new tires.
4. One of the wheels is bent slightly.
5. For some reason there is a bunch of black tape at the dash near the window and defroster vents. Not sure why that would be there.
6. Timing belt was changed at 101,XXX miles, so I think the timing belt interval is 70,000 miles.
7. I noticed some condensation along the frameless window behind it where it meets the rubber gaskets. Not sure if it is leaking when it rains.
8. Those front seats are so comfortable.

I turned the ventilation controls to AUTO and started the car up. All seemed fine.

Car seems very fast. Rides very firm with the lowering springs.

Anything I should be sure to look into before making an offer.
Anyone know what the going rate is for one of these.
It is nothing like my 1992 Volvo 245 and that scares me a little, but is a very neat car.
