The loose/squeaky dash is a common problem on the 98-00 70 models. Don't know about the 850's. I was able to tighten mine up a little bit by tightening the bolts on the engine bay side of the dash. Take off the items you need to change the cabin filter and that exposes the dash bolts. Tighten those a bit and see if that helps before serious surgery on the dash from the inside of the car.
