Recently acquired a 2000 S70 GLT SE. Opened the hood quite a few times last month, however yesterday I released the hood first from the inside release on the drivers door and went to lift the hood from the outside under-the-grille release handle and that handle came off in my hand. I can still open the hood by pushing the 3-4 inch metal rod that fits into the handle housing, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to reattach the handle to the rod that should be activated by pulling the release. Anybody got a diagram or instructions on how to re-attach it? A very small piece on the righthand side of the handle is missing (don't know if it was there before or if is what caused the handle to disconnect), however any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Otherwise this is a very nice car, especially since it was the last year VOLVO actually made this model. Thanks in advance.
