Re: Wax for white car....

ICQ>

Han, in case you havent tried it yet, do yourself a favor and try Meguiar's 'Medallion for all paint'. They list it as both a polish and a protectant. I found that although it will do some minor polishing, its strength seems to be in both usability, and longevity and shine quality. It has this great scent that makes you want to drink it...but I would avoid that if possible! If you cant find it in the stores, you can order directly from Meguiars. Its about$20/16 oz bottle, but it goes a long way...I think you'll like it. If you feel that you have a surface problem(s) which go beyond that which a protectant can solve alone, then use Meguiars #9 swirl remover first, followed by Medallion. I've also used Body Scrub, and 3M machine polish as well to handle surface problems. For 'ground in dirt', and other industrial pollutants which embed themselves in your surface, you cant beat paint cleaning clay which just lifts them right from your surface like magic. If, when you drag your dry, clean hand across your surface, it feels rougher than a clean pane of glass, then you absolutely need Paint Cleaning Clay! And I've found that if a car has never had this done, including a new one right off the lot, then invariably, it can use this product. Good luck.
