rear shock question 850 1996

I installed Bilsteins on the rear about 4 months ago. I noticed a rattling/knocking coming from the rear recently and noticed the lower bolt on the shock moving around in the bushing. The bolt is torqued tight.

Do the bushings wear out? What causes this to happen?

Can I buy a replacement bushing instead of a new shock? Or will bilstein cover under warranty?
