About a year ago, my father was involved in a driving incident. Now that it has finally been cleared up, his insurance has gone WAY up. As a result, the insurance company refuses to insure him on his 2000 Mazda. As such, there is some car shuffling going on. My mother will now be driving the Mazda, my father will get my 855T, simply because it is the oldest car in the family, ergo, cheapest to insure (yes other factors apply, but only to the extent that all the cars in the family are NOT coupes, or expensive to insure, thus age being the largest factor). So for atleast 6 months, I will have to give up my baby.
I am however currently shopping for a 98 Maxima SE with a 5 spd. Which I do not intend on modifying beyond a short shifter, unless the car change becomes more permanent.
I will be doing the car switch with my father this Wednesday, at which point, I will drive the Mazda unt l I purchase said Maxima. Boo Hoo Hoo. Atleast I get to replace my baby a car with a good engine, and manual tranny.
