Bent alloy wheel 850 1996

Hmm. Put on a new set of tires, and was told that one rim was slightly bent. I was surprised to learn their proposed charge for straightening was $225. I have the swept alloys - I would think a new one would cost about the same...

Anyone have any experience straightening wheels? Does it work?

By the way, I haven't noticed any vibration, and the tires wore evenly....
