I'm sick and tired of all this hypocritical talk about what pigs SUV drivers are. Have you all forgotten? This is not the old Soviet Union where you could only pick from 3 colors of the only 2 cars manufactured there. (close to the truth). Thank God we have the freedom to buy whatever we want without the fear of being persecuted by TRUE Americans. One could be patriotic and still drive a Suburban or an Excursion. I bet most of you SUV bashers would buy an XC90 in a heartbeat if you had the money. Just be honest.

All this talk about no visibility when you’re behind an SUV. Please! What about all those 18-wheelers? That's why we have the passing lane. I see more morons in small peppy cars weaving in and out of traffic and endangering everyone’s lives. Most SUV drivers are soccer moms who want something safer than flimsy mini vans to taxi their children around and keep them safe from the idiots in the turbo charged Volvos/Fords.

And finally to those of you who want SUVs banned, MOVE TO AFGHANISTAN. You’ll be safe riding donkeys.
