Anyone have any experience of this?
I'm two and a half weeks into my first Volvo (S70A 2.5) and loving it... except that the (non-power) driver seat has me half crippled through back pain. I have the lumbar support all the way forward but am still arch-backed with support only for upper back.
This is a very low mileage car with immaculate upholstery (immaculate *everything!), so wear and tear wouldn't seem to be a factor.
Is there a safe way (upholstery damage / compromising of SIPS bag) to open up the seat and boost the lumbar pad?
Secondly the seat cushion (the bit you sit on) seems to have far more give on the right (it's a right hand drive car) than the left so behind the wheel you have a slight tilt to starboard the whole time. Not what I'd expected from a Volvo - I was *way* more comfortable in my 97 Honda Civic with 3x the mileage and firm, level seating!
With thanks
